After 92 years serving Canton and Stark County, Fishers Foods will close its final store on
Tuesday, October 14, 2025. We are deeply grateful for the generations of customers and
teammates who made Fishers part of their families and memories. Below are important details
for our community during the closing sale.

 

Key Dates

• Wednesday, Oct 1: Store closing sale begins

• Wednesday, Oct 8: Limited-edition Fishers merchandise available in-store (not
discounted)

• Tuesday, Oct 14: Final day of operations

• After Oct 14: Online equipment auction begins (details announced on social media)

 

Closing Sale Discounts

• Oct 1 – Oct 7 (Week 1): Grocery, frozen, dairy & general merchandise 30% off; discounts
in meat & produce; beer & wine discounted• Oct 8 – Oct 14 (Week 2): Grocery, frozen, dairy & general merchandise 50–75% off; meat
& produce 25–40% off; deeper beer & wine discounts• Bakery & deli classics (like smiley cookies, cakes, and prepared favorites): Regular price
All sales final. No coupons, rewards points, or advertised specials may be applied. Gift
cards will be honored through October 14.

• Gift Cards: Redeemable through Oct 14 only
• Rewards/Points: Not valid during closing sale
• Returns/Exchanges: Not accepted after Sept 30
• Prescriptions/Catering (if applicable): Staff can provide referrals upon request
