During the 175-mile bike tour I now call the epiphany ride, my buddy and I simply couldn't stomach another bite of the other energy bars we'd brought with us. After countless hours in mom's kitchen, clif bar finally became a reality, with an ideal mix of protein, fat, and carbohydrates.
